  Things to do in Main Street U.S.A. – Shopping, Food and Facilities When you enter the Disneyland Park you feel like you have stepped into a magical American town full of inspiring shops, restaurants and hidden gems. This street is a wonderful take on Walt Disney’s hometown and the pinnacle of this part of the park is the wonderful view of the amazing castle at the end of Main Street U.S.A. Shopping – Pavilion area before entering Main Street U.S.A The Storybook Store – This is a fantastic little gem of a shop which sells a real range of items that you can’t find elsewhere in the park such as books relating to the park and sometimes American Disney products.   Things to do in Discoveryland - Attractions, Walkthroughs and Meet and Greets If you are wanting to be a part of an intergalactic adventure then Discoveryland is the place for you! This land is filled with a range of activities that are out of this world and budding space adventure goers will love this land! From defeating the evil Emperor Zurg with Buzz Lightyear to jumping into hyperspace on a Starspeeder 1000, this land is sure to delight fans of all ages. How to get to Discoveryland If you are trying to get to Discoveryland from the end of Main Street U.S.A., head to the circular parade route and take a right. If you are heading there from Fantasyland, take a left and look for the giant sign. The Discoveryland sign cannot be missed as it is huge and also a fantastic photo opportunity! Things to do in Fantasyland - Attractions, Castle Attractions and Meet and Greets If you have little ones, Fantasyland is the place to be! In this land, you and your family will be immersed in a truly magical section of the park and feel like princes, princesses, kings and queens! There is a real range of activities to do in Fantasyland and the fact that it is accessed via the castle makes it all that more magical. Fantasyland is arguably the biggest of the 5 lands as it also includes the castle attractions and has the most rides that are suitable for the younger ones. How to get to Fantasyland If you are trying to get to Fantasyland from the end of Main Street U.S.A., head straight to the castle and you can walk straight through the castle entrance! You can also access Fantasyland from Adventureland on one side and to the left of the Discoveryland sign. The Star Wars aspects of Disneyland Paris are fantastic and I only hope that they add to this part of the park over the coming years, especially if they consider adding a specific Star Wars land!   Exploring the Castle – Hidden Gems This post is one of the first in a series of hidden gems in the park. On first glance from the park entrance, you see the most amazing pink castle and may think that it is just a lovely piece of the park that you can look at. If you thought that…you would be wrong! Read on to explore the castle and all of the wonderful quirks that it has to offer. You see the castle immediately when you stand centrally in the park from the entrance and it is the most wonderful sight. It is pink with blue accents and has a sparkle to it that just makes it magical! Designed to replicate Princess Aurora’s castle, you find some hints inside to take you through the story of Sleeping Beauty. If you walk straight down the middle of Main Street U.S.A, you will come to the circular part of the parade route. In this post, the focus will be the next land that you come to if you leave Frontierland via the side exits. Adventureland has a range of different things that you can do including walkthroughs and fantastic attractions plus there are some wonderful treasures to view including Skull Rock! Let’s explore Adventureland! How to get to Adventureland If you are trying to get to Adventureland from the end of Main Street U.S.A., head to the circular parade route and take the second exit coming from the circular route. You will then be met by some buildings that look like they have been pulled straight out of Agrabah and you have successfully found the entrance!   Things to do in Frontierland - Attractions, Photopass and Meet and Greets When you enter the Disneyland Paris Park (not Walt Disney Studios) you are pleasantly greeted by Main Street U.S.A. Here you will find food, shops and even some meet and greets. Plus, it is a fantastic place to watch the parades! Main Street U.S.A. will be explored more in another post but for now the focus is on what you can see and do in Frontierland. How to get to Frontierland If you are like myself and tend to go left in a theme park you will find that Frontierland is the first land that you visit in the Disneyland Park. Walk to the end of Main Street U.S.A to the circular route for the parade (you will see the most magical and beautiful castle ahead of you!) and take a left. You will know that you have reached Frontierland as you will see the large sign, the even larger Big Thunder Mountain ride and more than likely smell the smoky fumes that make you want to explore more!
