Things to do in Main Street U.S.A. – Shopping, Food and Facilities

When you enter the Disneyland Park you feel like you have stepped into a magical American town full of inspiring shops, restaurants and hidden gems. This street is a wonderful take on Walt Disney’s hometown and the pinnacle of this part of the park is the wonderful view of the amazing castle at the end of Main Street U.S.A.

Shopping – Pavilion area before entering Main Street U.S.A


  • The Storybook Store – This is a fantastic little gem of a shop which sells a real range of items that you can’t find elsewhere in the park such as books relating to the park and sometimes American Disney products. There were also some exclusive pins here when we visited – Accessible on the left next to the City Hall just after you enter the park under the Disneyland Railroad station (it is the shop opposite the entrance to the Liberty Arcade)
  • Ribbons and Bows Hat Shop – Sells themed accessories, jewellery, clothing items and a whole other range of goodies! – You can get hold of Pandora items in this shop – It is accessible on the right after you enter the park under the Disneyland Railroad station and is the shop opposite the Discovery Arcade

Shopping – The Main Straight of Main Street U.S.A

  • Emporium – Sells a range of items including ears, collectibles, pins, clothing and accessories – Accessible from the first left corner of the main straight as you enter the park
  • New Century Notions Flora’s Unique Boutique – Again selling a range of items including ears, figurines, clothing and accessories – We found a wide range of 30th anniversary clothing in this shop and you tend to find the Paris related items here – Accessible opposite the Emporium
  • Boardwalk Candy Palace – Selling chocolates, fudge and a huge range of sweet treats – This shop is located next to New Century Notions Flora’s Unique Boutique
  • Disney Clothiers – The clue is in the name with this shop as it sells a huge range of clothing and accessories – This is a wonderful shop that has a number of items for different ages in – This shop is located down Main Street U.S.A in the middle and some of the shops feed into each other down this row
  • Main Street Motors – Located at the end of the first row of shops, Main Street Motors sells a range of clothing and accessories
  • Lilly’s Boutique – This shop sells different items including tableware and decorative products – located on the left side of Main Street U.S.A and in the second row of shops
  • Disney & Co. – A wonderfully themed shop selling Disney costumes, outfits and accessories – Located next to Lilly’s Boutique
  • Harrington’s Fine China & Porcelains – An absolutely magical store selling Art reproductions, glassware, Pandora products and more! – Located opposite Lilly’s Boutique

Food - On the Right side of Main Street U.S.A.

  • The Coffee Grinder – Price range € - On-the-go – Drinks, souvenirs and desserts
  • The Ice Cream Company – Price range € - On-the-go -  Ice cream, souvenirs and drinks – Also selling a 30th Anniversary Magical Ice Cream and a special milkshake (Mickey’s Festive Milkshake)
  • Market House Deli - Price range € - Quick service restaurant - Toasties, celebration sandwiches, salads, drinks, souvenirs and desserts – Sells 30th Anniversary muffins and cookies
  • Cookie Kitchen - Price range € - On-the-go – Beignets, pastries, other desserts, drinks and souvenirs – Also sells 30th Anniversary muffins and cookies – I had one of the tastiest hazelnut chocolate beignets here!
  • Cable Car Bake Shop - Price range € - Quick service restaurant – A range of sweet treats, pastries, quiche, sandwiches, drinks and souvenirs
  • The Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlour - Price range € - On-the-go – Range of Ben and Jerrys® ice cream available as well as 4 special ice cream choices themed to some of the characters, sweet treats, drinks and souvenirs
  • Victoria’s Home Style Restaurant – Bar – Assortments of pastries available, milkshakes, iced tea, beer, wine, cold and hot drinks – For the 30th Anniversary, the assortments of pastries are available as well as a glass of 30th Anniversary red or white wine and a 30th Anniversary champagne flute with champagne is available

Food - On the Left side of Main Street U.S.A.

  • Walt’s – An American Restaurant - Price range €€€ - Table service – Adult and Children’s set menus available – A classic restaurant perfect for a special occasion and I would recommend reserving a table a couple of months in advance
  • Casey’s Corner - Price range € - Quick service restaurant – Hot dogs, fries, drinks, desserts and souvenirs – Mobile ordering available

Facilities

  • Stroller and Wheelchair Rentals – Located just outside the Disneyland Railroad Station
  • Restrooms available in both arcades and on both sides of the Town Square
  • First Aid Centre – Located just outside Main Street U.S.A. and is also a Baby Care Centre where you can feed, change and occupy your littlest ones as well as purchase any forgotten items for babies such as nappies.

Other Attractions


  • Horse-Drawn Streetcars – Make your way up and down Main-Street in a beautiful horse drawn streetcar
  • Disneyland Railroad – Jump onto the train here to travel around the different lands of the Disneyland Park – Please note that some stations are currently closed and I would advise checking on the app first
  • Main Street Vehicles – Take a ride in one of the wonderful old cars available
  • Liberty Arcade and Discovery Arcade – Two walkthrough arcades with some fantastic surprises inside! (This will be explored more in a further post)

Top Tips:

- You may find some characters around Main Street U.S.A.

- The Disneyland Railroad Station balcony is a good place to find characters!

 - The Town Square is a fantastic place to watch the parade and also down the straight of Main Street U.S.A.

 - Take your time to appreciate the sights and picturesque nature of Main Street U.S.A. as it really is magical and you are transported to a different place immediately!

 - Make use of the Disneyland Paris app or map to locate different shops/facilities if you are unsure as to where they are located.
